My name is Tammy R. Lelek-Porostovsky, and I am an ICP-P and Mentor with six years of experience practicing IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN). My journey into this field was birthed from personal loss–the passing of my son just two hours after birth. That experience led me on a path of seeking healing, not just for myself, but for others struggling with trauma, anxiety, and neurological imbalances. Though that story is one for another time, it shaped my passion for helping others find renewal, peace, and restoration–both mentally and spiritually.

Over the years, I have seen firsthand how God has designed the brain with the ability to heal, and how IASIS MCN can play a role in that process. As Christians, we know that God calls us to renew our minds (Romans 12:2), and sometimes that renewal comes through prayer, counseling, and faith-filled community, while at other times, it comes through tools that help the brain function as God intended. IASIS MCN is one of those tools–a non-invasive, natural way to encourage healing in those who struggle with mental, emotional, and neurological challenges.

What Is IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback?

IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback (MCN) is a non-invasive, drug-free technology that helps the brain self-correct by encouraging it to release unhealthy patterns and return to a more balanced state. Unlike traditional neurofeedback, which requires active participation, IASIS MCN works passively, delivering low-intensity pulses that help the brain reset–similar to rebooting a computer to clear out glitches.

Many individuals suffering from anxiety, PTSD, depression, brain fog, and even concussions have experienced remarkable improvements with this therapy. By gently supporting the nervous system, IASIS MCN helps bring clarity, calmness, and emotional stability–allowing the mind to function more effectively and in alignment with God’s design.

Aligning with Biblical Principles of Renewal

Scripture speaks powerfully about the role of the mind in our spiritual, emotional, and physical health. One of the most well-known verses, Romans 12:2, reminds us:

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

This transformation isn’t just spiritual–it’s also neurological. God has created our brains with neuroplasticity, meaning they can heal, rewire, and restore function after trauma or dysfunction. IASIS MCN supports this God-given ability, allowing people to experience greater peace, clarity, and emotional resilience.

Healing from Trauma and Anxiety

Many people desire the peace of God, but past trauma, chronic stress, or neurological imbalances can make it difficult to experience. In Philippians 4:7, Paul reminds us:

“The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

If the brain is stuck in a pattern of overstimulation, fear, or stress, it can be challenging to embrace the fullness of God’s peace. IASIS MCN helps the brain and nervous system relax, making it easier to meditate on truth, engage in prayer, and experience deeper emotional healing.

Breaking Mental Strongholds

The Bible calls us to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Yet, when the brain is caught in cycles of negative thinking, anxiety, or trauma responses, it can be hard to move forward in faith.

IASIS MCN works to disrupt dysfunctional brain patterns, allowing individuals to break free from mental strongholds that have held them back. Many people who undergo IASIS MCN report feeling mentally clearer, emotionally stable, and spiritually connected–enabling them to stand firm in their faith and trust in God’s healing.

Faith and Science: A God-Given Partnership

Some may wonder whether technology like neurofeedback aligns with faith. But throughout Scripture, we see that God gives wisdom and knowledge (Proverbs 2:6) to help His people thrive. Just as we use medicine, biblical counseling, and other healing tools, neurofeedback can be viewed as another resource God has provided to restore His people.

Jesus Himself was concerned with healing–physically, emotionally, and spiritually. The brain is part of the body God created, and taking steps to heal it aligns with the biblical call to steward our health (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

A Testimony of Hope

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals who have found freedom from cycles of anxiety, PTSD, and emotional distress through IASIS MCN. Many describe feeling:

More present

Greater peace

Improved focus

A renewed ability to engage with life

Healing is often a journey, but it is one God walks with us. Whether through biblical counseling, prayer, or technologies like IASIS MCN, we can trust that God desires healing for His people.

Embracing Healing with God’s Wisdom

If you or someone you love is struggling with stress, trauma, anxiety, or cognitive challenges, I encourage you to consider IASIS Microcurrent Neurofeedback as part of a holistic healing approach. As we pursue renewal in our minds, we can embrace the resources God has provided–through His Word, community, and advancements that align with His design.

In Isaiah 26:3, we find this beautiful promise:

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.

May we continue to trust in God’s healing, knowing that His renewal is always at work–in our minds, our hearts, and our lives.
