| What Is Biblical Counseling? |
|
Biblical counseling is distinguished from “Christian counseling” in that we do not “mix” secular (humanistic) theory developed by Freud and others into our philosophy of counseling. Instead, we begin from the Bible alone, and ask the “big” questions of psychology such as “Who is man?”, “Why does he do what he does?”, “How does he change?”, and “What is the nature of his deepest struggles?”. |
