I believe that true healing is experienced when freedom in Christ is understood and embraced. Galatians 5:1 says, “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” During the counseling process, both meaningful and powerful change occurs through examining core heart issues, rather than addressing thoughts and behaviors alone. The world offers many temporary fixes, but true and lasting changes come only from a heart that is transformed by the power of the Gospel; bringing redemption, forgiveness, and hope.
While I believe God’s Word and the Holy Spirit are the primary agents of change, I also believe the counseling process is an instrument used by God to promote reconciliation and restoration as He works to transform lives. It is my joy and privilege to walk with individuals in kindness and gentleness, and encourage those who are hurting to seek hope and change in Jesus Christ alone. We can take great comfort knowing that God orchestrates everything, both good and bad, for His greater purpose and plan.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Development and Family Studies from the University of North Texas, and hold a Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults including issues pertaining to grief and bereavement, anxiety, abuse, and anger. Contact: 817 . 571 . 4110 Download: Intern Release Download: Intake Form
