My name is Tim Watson and I’ve earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX after graduating with a BS in Sociology from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern supervised by Steve Clay LPC-S. I am a member of the Association of Biblical Counselors and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Over the past several years I have had the opportunity and privilege to work with adolescents, families, couples and individuals in a clinical setting as well as a church setting. My areas of specific interest in counseling include men's issues, marriage and family issues, adolescents, addictions, anxiety/stress and grief/trauma.
As a believer in Christ and a counselor I consider it a great privilege to walk with those who are in the midst of life’s struggles. It may be hard to believe at this time but there is a God in Heaven who is ever so familiar with the struggles you and all of us deal with on a day-to-day basis and He longs to meet you right where you are. Hebrews 4:14-16 says “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses….Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” My hope and prayer for you as you pursue counseling is that you might experience first-hand God’s amazing grace and love no matter the circumstance.
I currently live in Fort Worth with my wife, Brittany. I meet with clients in both our Fort Worth and Bedford offices.
